Summer Camp 2012

We are proud to present Pickering Islamic Centre’s 7th Annual Summer Camp. The youth of the community have worked extremely hard in putting together this camp for our younger generation.

This camp is a non-profit project; the fees will go towards covering the cost of supplies, hiring teachers and field trips inshaAllah. The program is geared towards boys and girls ages 4 to 14 and their better understanding of Islam as well as providing a safe and enjoyable environment during the month of July.

The Summer Camp will begin July 3rd, concluding on July 26th. Registration will initiate full force on June 1st inshaAllah, and will end on June 25th, so take advantage of this amazing opportunity before prices go up and register your kids for this exciting camp at the Pickering Islamic Centre!

Welcome to Pickering Islamic Centre’s Summer Camp 2012!
This camp is geared towards giving children basic Islamic teachings as well as enhancing their Arabic writing skills, along with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an.

The children will enjoy a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, as well as creative activities inshaAllah. They will also be taken on a variety of fun filled field trips, exercising their body and mind alike.

Some activities include:

• Trip to Rotary Park and the Public Library
• Praying Zuhur Salah in Congregation
• Pizza Party
• And much more!!!

The camp will give children the perfect opportunity to spend part of their summer in a fun and safe environment. This camp is geared towards having fun while learning and observing our Islamic values. Learning to dodge balls one moment, while learning to dodge sins at another!
